September 2025 Calendar

Care Kits for the unsheltered and food  insecure are available for pick up each Sunday in the Narthex.  There is no cost. 

Every Sunday after service there is a  Sunday Social Hour.  It's a good chance to meet with friends, new and old, over coffee and treats after church services. 

On on the first Sunday of each month at 11:30 A.M. in the library. the Prayer Ministry will be held . 

On the last Sunday of the month, the Fellowship Committee will be celebrating birthdays for that month with a cake.   Please join us for a celebration of those church friends celebrating birthdays

On the first Mondays of the month at 5:30 PM.  Art and Soul Group meets in the Pastor's office; no experience nor talent requires. Please join us. 

Every Tuesday at 11:00 A.M Hands of Love meets in the Social Hall.  Be part of the Lutheran World Relief Quilt and Kit Ministry.  Quilts will be sent around the workd to those in need

Every Wednesday from 2 - 3:30 pm  Weekly Bible study  in Pastor Carole’s office. 

Wednesday, September 3rd at 11:00 A.M.  Grief & Loss Support Group will meet on in Pastor Carole’s office. Contact Pastor Carole if you would like to join the group. ¨

Saturday Sept 6 at 8:30 am Men’s Ministry Meeting at Howard's Coffee Shop in Cypress.  Contact Gordon Hild, if you would like to join. 

Sunday, Sept 7at 9:30 A.M PRAISE IN THE PARK Multi-Congregational Worship service at El Dorado Park West, Willow Grove 2800 N. Studebaker Rd, Long Beach

Wednesday, September 17th at 4:00 P.M Worship Assistants Training in the sanctuary 

Wednesday Sept 24 at 4:00 p.m Mount Calvary Reads will in Pastor Carole’s office.  

The book we are  currently reading is a novel titled We’ll Prescribe You A Cat by Syou Ishida. “A cat a day keeps the doctor away"… Discover the award-winning, best-selling Japanese novel  that has become an international sensation. You are invited to join at anytme. 

Saturday, Sept 27 Dinner Out  at 5:00 P.M at Olive Garden in Cypress. Everyone is invited to come for good food, friendly conversation and laughter. Please sign up in the narthex if you plan to attend.
